LA BONNE TABLE is a cozy and intimate restaurant in the heart of the bustling neighborhood of Hillcrest. We serve country french food in a bistro fashion. Our menu consists of classic french dishes, a modest but excellent selection that will change with the seasons. We offer a romantic atmosphere and elegant setting, full bar and french beer on tap. Reservations are recommended as seating is very limited in this exclusive restaurant. ​Bon Appetit!

    Reservation does require early planning as prime dinner hours are difficult to get. Recommend booking 2weeks in advance but worth while.

    Victor was our server and he was amazing! Everything he recommended was as delicious as promised! We lived in Paris for two years and this meal topped the charts!! Run to try their escargots! We also had their endive salad, pork chop, and the star of the show was Cassolet!!! Sooo good!

    Food & Service was exceptional. The place was quaint but a bit crowded which makes it a little noisy. Parking was easy enough if youre willing to shell out $19.00 for 2 hours. Great experience, would definitely visit again soon.

    We are regular customers of this fabulous local restaurant at the junction of Hillcrest and Bankers Hill, although not always via OpenTable, and had another great meal last night. My wife had the steak frites and I the confit du canard (as I *always* do, despite the other very tempting entrees). Both were exceptionally well prepared, and the service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. But, speaking of service, the only negative to our meal was not being offered any bread! Go figure. We suspect that it was because we had cocktails but no appetizer, and perhaps skipping that threw the staff a curve. If not for that, I would have rated service 5 rather than 3 stars (and the overall 5 vs. 4). This is a great local spot, and we look forward to returning. ATBster

    This is a great neighborhood restaurant that always delivers on service, quality and ambiance. The staff are rockstars that excel at customer service. The food is delicious.

    This has been our favorite restaurant in San Diego for almost nine years. The flavors are consistently amazing, and they serve the best escargots; truly unparalleled. Their unique recipes transport you to France with the very first bite. The staff is incredible, offering warm and attentive service that shows how much they cherish their customers.
