Per HOA Regulations, all guests must vacate the restaurant no later than 11:30pm, this includes New Years Eve.

La Bottega offers authentic Italian cuisine with the Chef Stephen Virion having worked in Tuscany and the Veneto regions of Italy. His wife, Elisabetta, is from Asiago, Italy and has crafted the wine list to compliment the cuisine. La Bottega's Wine Bar is a great place for apres ski or to just have a glass of wine with friends from our award winning wine list.

Failure to cancel or correct your reservation according to our reservation terms, will result in your credit card being charged a fee of $40/person. Please call the restaurant 12 hours prior to your reservation for any changes.

Patio seating is on a first come first serve basis, all reservations made are for indoor seating only.

From our famous East Coast style sandwich selections to Colorado Lamb or White Truffle Menus (in season) and authentic Italian Cuisine, La Bottega offers you a wide selection of options for your private affair. You may select off of our menus available on our website or have Chef Stephen Virion make a personalized menu to fit your event. Regardless, you will have a dining experience to remember. We will take care of all of your catering needs so that you can enjoy Vail and the mountains of Colorado.

Vail is a pedestrian village. Vail Transportation Center and Lionshead parking facilities are available. There is free parking in these public areas after 3:00 p.m. You may take a bus from either public parking structure or it is a 5 minute walk; West from the Vail Parking Structure and East from the Lionshead Parking Structure.
Public transit
Free in town public transportation is available on Meadow Drive which runs from 7:00 a.m until 2:00 a.m. La Bottega is just steps away from the Vail Plaza stop. La Bottega is on the corner of Meadow Drive and Vail Road.

Great place! Pizza was delicious! My husband had a fish entrée that was also excellent. We both enjoyed an appetizer salads and a nice glass of wine. We will definitely be going back.

Consistently good. Great, gracious service from Giovanni. Greek salad, carbonara, clam linguini were all good. Each year, La Bottega is always our first restaurant in Vail. You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered a Gorgonzola Crusted Filet, medium rare. Crusted being something that piqued my palette. I received a filet that was well done, and a glob of Gorgonzola cheese, with zero resemblance of “crusted”. If you’re going to charge your patrons if they miss their reservations, by all means, you should at a minimum ensure the quality is worth making this place a priority. I will have serious second thoughts before eating here again.

We were treated poorly by the hostess on our arrival. We were a party of 5 and held our reservation for $200. The hostess seated an earlier reservation at a loud table near a large party in and otherwise empty area. The guests asked to be moved. As she was seating them she said we can sit right away since WE can now have that table. We declined. Ultimately they sat us at table in the back of the restaurant that didn’t seem like it was included in the service for that night. Our server was good but the tone was set and we did not enjoy the experience.

One of the few restaurants left in Vail with a staff that is well managed, knowledgeable, attentive and professional.

The two pastas we had were not al dente. And they wet out in less than 10 min after we ordered (that means they were cooked before and this makes pasta sticky).

First stop after arriving in vail. Food was amazing. Beef carpaccio was exceptional. Profiteroles were some of the best I’ve ever had. We will be back.
