La Casa de los Platos in Guadalajara is updated Mexican cuisine in a lovely setting. The refined cooking adds a subtle accent to traditional ingredients with attentive service. There�s a menu in English for visitors. Some of the recommended dishes at La Casa de los Platos include the bacon wrapped peppers stuffed with pork, mescal shrimp, gourmet tacos, tortilla soup and guacamole. The menu offers salads, grilled items like steak along with light food, like salmon and chicken breast.     La experiencia del servicio fue muy mala. Estaban obligando a dejar propina diciendo mentiras. Además demasiado condimentada la comida que nos cayó mal a todos.

    We ate an early supper. So I can't really speak to the ambiance as it was pretty empty. But the food was amazing. So was the service. Even had a great mocktail! We went for dinner and will likely go back for brunch!

    Cute restaurant, tailored for tourists. The restaurant has a nice vibe, marred only by the screens playing cheesy promotional videos on repeat. Service was great - friendly and helpful, but a noticeable attempt to push more expensive menu items. The cocktails were inventive and balanced. The food was disappointing and the tequila selection was brand names you can find anywhere. We had an okay experience overall but I would not recommend.

    Bonito ambiente. La comida muy buena especialmente los postres estuvieron excelentes! La comida demoró mucho en llegar. El maitre se disculpó con nosotros y salvó nuestra experiencia. El servicio muy bueno.

    Nos encantó. Mariachis muy buenos, DJ y la animación. El meseta excelente estuvo el pendiente todo el momento. La comida muy rica y la guacamole se prepara en la mesa.
