La Collina has delighted diners with world-class cuisine, service, and ambiance for more than 31 remarkable years. Classically-trained staff serve a selection of the finest old-world recipes in an atmosphere of casual elegance, while attending to every detail.
Located just off the Schuylkill Expressway in Belmont Hills, La Collina boasts spectacular hilltop views. The bar offers a unique atmosphere with live entertainment and dancing on weekends. This gem is known as one of the most romantic restaurants on the Main Line.
La Collina specializes in fresh seafood and veal dishes. Its signature dish, Dover Sole, is a delicate, tasty fish that is uniquely grilled, and served tableside. In addition to our Dover Sole, our daily fresh-fish specials include Branzino, Norwegian Salmon, Pompano, Orata, soft-shell crabs, Langostina, and other delights from the sea, depending upon availability. We are also known for our veal sirloin, veal porterhouse, ossobuco, and chops.

Fantastic 1st experience! My husband and I travel to Philly a lot throughout the year because we’re die hard sports fans. We pass La Collina everytime we head to our hotel and finally wanted to check it out. From the service, to the food, to the overall atmosphere it is top notch! Definitely will be back, this place is a treasure.

It's Thanksgiving 2024 in the age of smartphones and debit cards. My wife and I, both nurses whom worked on Thanksgiving while our baby and toddler are 2 hours away on the holiday. We chose to meet at LA Collina after work for a nice dinner. Dinner was fair. The chicken parm wasn't as good as my wives and the risotto was loaded with powdered garlic. Upon arriving I noticed the option of Valet parking in a lot attached to the restaurant. In this age of smartphones and cards I had no cash and parked in the street. My wife arrived after me with her card and smartphone. She left her car with the Valet whom parked the car on the street. Upon leaving the restaurant paying a $150 bill and generous tip I retrieved my wifes keys from the attendant whom didn't even fetch the car. As I wasn't carrying cash and there was no QR code available for payment I was unfortunately able to tip him. As I was walking away the Valet attendant yelled "Thanks for nothing." I went into the restaurant, I informed a server whom notified the owner. The owner appeared apologetic. He promised me a gift card as amends. Still haven't seen the certificate. Rude and No Integrity.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable, delicious meal at La Collina from start to finish and would highly recommend. Service was exceptional and each one of us had a great dinner. The pasta special was outstanding (do not hesitate), but I have to admit that the gorgonzola filled gnocchi enjoyed by my GF were pretty amazing as well. Her husband had no difficulty devouring his entire chicken park and my husband was delighted that he could order and enjoy veal parm not included on the menu. While I do not usually order my own dessert, I just could not pass up the Lemon Gelato with Limoncello and I have to say that it was positively amazing. I cannot recall having such an unusual and memorable dessert and only wish I could re-create it. It was served in a champagne flute and I refused to leave a trace behind. Our server was extremely professional and very pleasant. It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was pleasantly quiet and she permitted us to stay and visit without rushing us out the door. Our valet kindly brought our vehicles to the front door and delivered the keys to our table so we were able to avoid getting wet with the light rain. Very thoughtful. All in all a great meal and we are already looking forward to a return visit.

Very consistent experience with food and service. Their actual paper menus need to be replaced as they are old and don't reflect the quality of the food and service which are both very good
