We were a party of nine and I did not like the way the bill was distributed at the end. They would not give us individual checks per couple “that was not their company policy”. I feel that waiter was fair. A couple of the dinners that were on the higher end price were dried out and andover cook cooked. We did have to ask for a assistant manager regarding the timeframe in which our food was served. Disappointed since we have been there in the past and had no problems!

Our server was great and the food amazing. I made a reservation but nowhere in the description did it say dinner did not start until 3:30. We just had a glass of wine and waited which wasn't a big deal. What I did not like is there were only 3 of us and they automatically added gratuity. Our service was good so we would have tipped her at least what they added if not more but didn't out of shear principle because it was not communicated to us they were dong that. I also almost double tipped because who adds gratuity to a party of 3? Too many restaurants in Detroit probably won't be back.

This place lacks the ambiance it once had. Food is still good and service was good but ambiance sucked. Needs to be redone. Sorry.

My server was great! I asked for a warm spot to sit because it was 10° outside and he put me right next to a cold wall. I ordered the steak bites and the taste was great that they were cold and I could not eat it. I would go back for outdoor dining, or I would rather sit at a booth if they look a little more comfy and cozy by the bar and I’m not a drinker.

The place has an upscale vibe but still accessible for those of us who aren’t habitual fine diners. The food was great! Our server Rico was awesome, gave great recommendations and we left full and happy. I’ll definitely come back, especially for summer brunch on the patio. Ps, anyone complaining about portion sizes here… I felt the total opposite. We had a lot of leftovers haha.

We came to try the restaurant for my wife's birthday. After reading their dress code and abiding by it, we arrived to see it wasn't being remotely followed by 70% of patrons. The foods taste was good. Unfortunately the portion size was so small, I thought they had mistakenly brought me a side dish. When brought to the servers attention, nothing was attempted to be corrected to the dish. In fairness, I was offered to change my dish, but as everyone understands now you are looking at at least another 30min to receive said dish while I watch my wife eat. My wife's chicken picatta was appropriate, but there is no excuse for paying 28.00 for 8-10 small gnocchi. Staff in general didn't appear to have a welcoming attitude and there was not appropriate table manicuring. I have managed, cooked and served at very nice restaurants. I definitely expected better.

The food was fantastic! I didn’t appreciate that the only parking option was valet and the parking was right outside the door so you’re paying $8 for someone to get your car when you can get it likely quicker. We found a ton of glass on the floor by our table and our server didn’t seem to really care so we had to tell a manager on our way out so no one gets hurt because it was everywhere under the table. Other than those two things, it’s a cute place with very good food.

I had the best night ever. I went to dinner to celebrate my 42nd Birthday (11/24). Our service was amazing. The food was AMAZING 20 out of 10. The drinks were amazing. My favorite drink is the “Woodward”. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. We also ordered the Smoked Old Fashion, La Vita Sangria and the Viola Lemonade. Every single drink taste good and was strong( Not to strong but will get you there). Whoever the bartender is, they did their big one. I ordered the Chicken Piccata. This food was so good. It was hot, fresh and it had amazing flavor. My friends and I did meet the own of the resturant. He was so sweet and so down to earth and amazing. He took all our pictures. He showed us where the best places were in the restaurant to take photos. He also gave us complimentary “Birthday Shots”. This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in a restaurant in the city in a very long time. I am already making plan to dine again soon. Also, the staff let us know that the holiday drink menu will be released soon. There are a few drinks I must try on that menu as well. . Please make sure you try this restaurant asap.
