The best Italian restaurant! Awesome!the service , the ambient te food and of course the prices. This restaurant it’s like a little jewel in La Jolla !

The appetizers were definitely the highlight of the meal, but the rest of the food was disappointing. I had the spaghetti with meatballs, and the sauce tasted like something straight from a jar. It also came with a single rigatoni, which was a bit odd. I also tried the gnocchi, but it was way too salty and tough to enjoy.

Made the reservation over a month ahead and was seated in an area that broke the romance. There was no waiter to get us drinks and I had to order bread for the table from someone walking by. I was recommended a pasta that was mostly olives and the pasta was mushy/falling apart. In the end the bill was handed to my date and it made for a lackluster evening.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego. The pasta is amazing (particularly the pappardelle with short rib and the ravioli). The service is incredible with the friendliest staff around. This is a local gem and their prices remain reasonable despite being in the middle of such a hot location.
