La Marmotte, located in historic downtown Telluride, specializes in classic French cuisine and wine. We are open for dinner seven nights from 5pm - 9pm with a prix fixe three course menu. We are also offering a la carte dining options for the summer season and several happy hour specials from 5pm to 6pm. We have a STRICT 24 hour cancellation policy and you will be charged full menu price for cancellations within 24 hours of your reservation. The duck confit seemed like it was prepared ed hours ago. Hazelnut desert was good. Frozen eclairs were not fresh. Disappointing for the price

The ambiance is perfect cozy French bistro and the food was good, especially the trout. However, the shining star of La Marmotte is Daniel, our bartender. He was incredibly knowledgeable on food/wine pairings, including a rare and exquisite Armagnac. Sit at the bar and get to know Daniel!

                                                                            Food was good but not in line with what one would expect with $95 pp fixed price menu. Felt rushed to turn the table. Pretty basic drink order was also messed up. Manager was attentive and seemed to care about the experience. There’s better value in Telluride.
