   Overall, the experience was poor from the moment we walked in. The hostess seemed to have an attitude, which immediately caught me off guard but whatever I typically don’t care about things like that. We indicated that this was a birthday dinner when we made our reservation and watched the table next to us get a candle in their dessert - our server never asked us about the birthday and when we ordered a dessert it came candle-less. Once again, I usually don’t care about things like that and would have blown it off…if not for the rest of our experience. About halfway through dinner I realized i was drinking water out of an absolutely filthy glass (I don’t mean just a speck of dirt, it was flat out dirty), I told the server and he apologized and brought over a new one. For me, I equate something like that with finding a hair in my food…it’s disgusting and off putting for the entire experience and in my opinion, something from the bill should be comped. This was not the case when the bill was brought over, so I said something, and our server said he could comp our already free bottle of water. When I said the water is free, he said “Well, the dirty glass wasn’t intentional”. Someone who I am assuming is the manager came over, comped my beer and said a simple “sorry”. On top of this, the food was just okay at best. Overall, I expected far more from a restaurant like this in all aspects and I was extremely disappointed.

   my wife and I went out for our Anniversary. The Restaurant is clean and neat. Our server, was training, I do not remember his name but *****, he knew his job and was awesome,. Our food was very good, well seasoned, and looked good. I would highly recommend La Masseria to anyone in the area

   We loved this restaurant, it was our first time visiting La Masseria and we had an amazing time. Our food was fabulous and our server Jonatan was very attentive. We enjoyed the battuta di pollo, the bucatini pasta, and a frutti di mare special. It was a lovely birthday dinner, we will definitely return!
