La Mezzaluna is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of downtown Princeton, NJ. We are your premier choice for exquisite dining and service. Using the finest and freshest seasonal local ingredients, our menu has earned its reputation for mouth-watering regional Italian cuisine and flavors.

We have been in Princeton for over 15 years and our food is adored by both locals and tourists alike. Our menu changes seasonally and we offer special dishes during major holidays.

    We tried Mezzaluna last year for restaurant week and were unimpressed, but thought we'd give it another go. The experiences were very similar. The food is ok, but unfortunately just did not wow and certainly would not justify the usual prices. Servers were very kind, but service was slow. The interior of the restaurant could definitely use a refresh. As much as we prefer to support local businesses, I don't think we'll be back any time soon.

    My wife and I enjoyed a superb early dinner this past Sunday, February 23 at La Mezzaluna. Just steps away from the beautiful campus of Princeton University, this restaurant is a gem in this great dining town. Food, service and ambience were all outstanding. As an appetizer, we shared a delicious, and unique, version of calamari, followed by a flavorful, perfectly dressed salad. Our entrees were both specials: a seafood risotto for my wife and a salmon Francese for me. Both dishes were exquisite. For dessert we shared their tiramisu. La Mezzaluna is a BYO restaurant, and they supply fine wine glasses for guests who enjoy wine with meals, as we do. Service was also top notch. William, our lead server, was warm, welcoming and professional throughout our dinner. We look very forward to our next visit to this excellent, authentic Italian restaurant.

    By far the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Must try: Eggplant Rollantini, Burrata and Cannelloni. Friendly staff. Hope to dine again there soon

    Great food with engaged servers and BYO what is not to love. Could not believe how reasonably priced it was for the quality of the food.
