La Mezzaluna is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of downtown Princeton, NJ. We are your premier choice for exquisite dining and service. Using the finest and freshest seasonal local ingredients, our menu has earned its reputation for mouth-watering regional Italian cuisine and flavors.

We have been in Princeton for over 15 years and our food is adored by both locals and tourists alike. Our menu changes seasonally and we offer special dishes during major holidays.

    Service was excellent - attentive, but gave us tons of space to talk. The Caesar salad was very fresh and used a tasty olive oil and a hint of garlic, which is all it needs. Too many places overdo it. I had the smoked salmon with a pesto sauce and GF pasta. So good! I couldn’t resist bringing home leftovers to enjoy it again.

    Attended dinner Thanksgiving evening. We knew dry Turkey was a possibility, and they indeed delivered. What we did not expect was a very tough NY Strip Steak that was prepared medium rare. It was our first time at this restaurant. We will try one more time just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.

    When we visit our daughter, we very often will choose Mezza Luna if we can obtain a reservation. We prefer the BYOB option (wine store next door) and love the cuisine there. The staff is so friendly and welcoming!

    The staff graciously adapted when we arrived with a party of 8, rather than the 6 for which I had reserved. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food, and the final bill with the added tip, was very reasonable. We were pleased with everything--service, food, ambiance. We will return often.

    We love Mezzaluna! I always get the Branzino with lobster risotto, it’s so good! Everyone in our party ordered different entrees and they were all delicious. Added bonus: it’s a BYO!

    This was a great little restaurant right near the downtown Princeton area of town. The neighborhood is very walkable and beautiful. The food was great, highly recommend the Arancini!

    Highly Recommend. It was absolutely delicious food and great service. Nicest owner of the restaurant with great pride in his food and menu. Not to miss while you are in Princeton.
