We do not accept reservations for breakfast and lunch, it is walk-in based only.

In consideration of our dining reservations, we kindly ask you to abide by the following time courtesy standards:

1-2 Guests; 1 Hour 30 Minutes
3-5 Guests; 1 Hour 45 Minutes
6-8 Guests; 2 Hours
9-12 Guests; Reservations are only available at designated times (4:30-5:30, 7:30, 8:00) - 2 Hours 30 minutes

*For parties of more than 12 guests please call our Dining Room at (505) 995-2334


La Plazuela was the hotel’s original 1920s patio and it retains that sunlit Old World charm. Skylights flood the dining room with natural light and handsome carved furnishings, artisanal lighting, and our much-loved hand painted windows create a beautiful, inviting room to gather, to dine and to make memories in. The menu was crafted to showcase old favorites with New World influences and authentic New Mexican cuisine. La Plazuela at La Fonda on the Plaza is Santa Fe’s gathering place. Come dine with us!

    Surprisingly good for a restaurant of its size. Food and service (Edgar) was great. A little long between courses.

    Saturday of a Valentines weekend having a reservation was perfect. We were seated right at our scheduled time. Our server, Francisco, was attentive and very polite. Somehow our food order was lost in the busy shuffle and came out very delayed. However, Francisco was very apologetic and comped us bread and additional sparkling wine. My wife and I were also very understanding. Dinner was saved and we had a great wedding anniversary celebration. Thank you La Plazuela!

    Wonderfully executed Valentine’s Dinner with an overflow crowd. Big portions, nice wine BTG and good prices, friendly and personal service.

    Fabulous dinner! La Plazuela never disappoints! Restaurant is inside La Fonda Hotel which is known for its beautiful southwest design. Highly recommend going and enjoying a wonderful meal and the ambience.

    Enjoyed a lovely evening dining at La Plazuela a few days ago. Our table was ready when we arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. Our waiter was charming and helpful, the menu was interesting, and the ambience was lovely and allowed for conversation. When one of our cocktails was not prepared quite as it should have been, the maitre’d ordered a new one and ensured that it was properly done. Our meals were excellent.

    I gave the noise level a Moderate rating because we were sat next to the fountain which makes a very soothing background “noise”. The food was good, the staff were excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
