The rich woods and traditional decor of La Taverne welcomes guests to one of the most legendary steakhouses in Colorado. The airy Le Jardin Room brings the outdoors in and allows guests to dine among lush florals and a stunning 16-foot chandelier.

Savor the finest selection of hand-cut prime steaks, chops, and prime rib, along with an enticing array of options from our seafood bar. The Broadmoor Restaurant Collection procures only sustainable fish and seafood. Our Eagles Nest Ranch wagyu beef is raised exclusively for The Broadmoor at Eagles Nest Ranch.

Mingle with friends while enjoying a selection from our wine list or classic cocktails, complemented by fresh oysters from the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf Coasts. The restaurant features a guitarist on Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm for our Guests enjoyment.

We made reservations over 3 months in advance. My husband had to stand at our table with no chair for a bit. It took 38 minutes for the first glass of wine.

Food was good. Main concern was how long it took to receive the order. The wait staff was friendly, but a lunch took close to two hours.

Lobster tail was cold. Desert was almost inedible. Steak was ok, but very over-priced and comes with no sides. Ambience is ok, but nothing special. Extremely over-priced. Would advise against coming here for dinner.

I proposed and we enjoyed the most elegant dinner to celebrate! We had an amazing experience all around! The service and atmosphere were exceptional and the food was everything one could have imagined! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The new menu is a little disappointing. Two people in my party had prime rib and both indicated it was overcooked. The snow crab claws were very good. Their bread basket has changed substantially and is really worthless. We had a seasonal dessert which was very dry. Overall, I think that the quality has deteriorated in the recent year Very disappointed as we have gone there annually for the last 20 some years.

The food and ambience were great. Tyler and Mary were exceptional in their care and table service. It’s nice to know that special attention to detail still exists.

What a lovely way to spend the holidays. My Cosmo was perfection so was my crab bisque and my beautiful quiche. The service was outstanding. We really enjoyed our lunch.!
