   Service was incredibly slow. We were there for over two hours and spent most of the time waiting for our food and drinks. Food was so so. Not worth the wait.

   La Tavola is one of our go-to restaurants in the neighborhood and has consistently provided delicious cuisine with truly imaginative touches. Dinner hit all those marks and in addition, was made memorable by the hostess' and waiter's remembrance of our anniversary. Lou, our waiter, provided superb service and helped significantly in ensuring that we enjoyed a fine evening. His hospitality, attention to detail, and sense of timing were first rate and represent exactly the quality of La Tavola's experience that will bring us back.

   The music on the porch was so loud it was hard to hear our conversation. Maybe inside would be quieter.

   A rotating menu so you can’t expect to order all that you see reviewed here. Food was a bit bland, and the tables were very close together. We were seated beside a dish return station, which really shouldn’t be an option.

   We had yer another great meal at LaTavola! May Cathryn took great care of us from seating to departure, making sure we had everything we needed and answering all of our questions…each of us tried a dish that we had not had here previously. We really enjoyed ourselves!
