   This is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Cruz. The interior and the patio are beautiful. The food is wonderful and so is the presentation. Love it!

   Taluela was our waitress, and she was exceptional—well put-together, classy, polite, and incredibly attentive to detail. Honestly, she’s the kind of employee any business would be lucky to have—absolutely poachable! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was spot-on. The restaurant is in a great downtown Santa Cruz location, with an old-world, Mediterranean feel. They truly nailed the atmosphere—high ceilings, elegant decor, and a welcoming vibe. Everything was impeccably clean, from the floors and windows to the bathrooms and tables. The staff overall were polite and professional. The European cuisine was absolutely authentic, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Santa Cruz!

   We lunched today on Lalli's delightful private patio—3 high school friends getting together 60 years later to celebrate our recent birthdays. We began w/ freshly baked naan and the most innovative and flavorful mezze plate we'd ever had.. Along with good and reasonably priced glasses of Pinot Gris and Temparnillo. 2 of us had the lamb kabobs—tender, medium and enticingly seasoned. The apricot chutney, dates and and pomegranate on my chicken flatbread transformed simple, light slices into star performers, especially with the contrast of cardamom-dressed salad greens. Our server was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. 5 stars all around!

   The food was outstanding. The kitchen seemed to be understaffed so they were only able take us about 20 minutes after the reservation time, but after that the service was good.

   Wonderful dining experience, great service (provided by our server Dillon), and fantastic food. As a vegan, not many restaurants warrant a review and fail to offer a menu with delicious options. Highly recommend and definitely will return.

    Service was excruciatingly slow. It was 45 min before entrees made it out and that only after us inquiring about it and stacking our appetizer plates. By that time the flatbread we ordered arrived, it was cold and dry. Overall food was disappointing and service was terrible. This restaurant used to be great. Hope they find their mojo again!
