Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     Service was slow and inconsistent and the food was just average at best. Certainly not worth the cost.

    Love the pasta - served on warmed plates, so delicious. Excellent fresh fish for a main; generous portions and always delicious. This favorite restaurant of over 35 years for us never disappoints.

    Landini is a fave of ours. The lower King Street location plus the old world ambience make it a charming experience. For the best bargain in Old Town go for lunch and order a $15 panini. Accompanied by a terrific side of potato salad plus an arugula salad - and preceded with bread and olive oil - you’ll leave neither hungry nor poor!

    My husband and I really enjoy dining at Landini’s. After all, this is where we went for our first date.  Therefore, it is disappointing that recently there has been a remarkable decline in the quality of service.  This makes two times in a row where there have been issues.  Landini should be concerned.  In the first case, the waiter barely acknowledged we were there, took our order, brought the wrong wine and we never saw him again!  Yesterday, we were hosting my daughter and fiancée and so we requested (Open Table) a window table (#35), but when we arrived, we were told that the restaurant does not honor special requests and so we were seated at a table facing the fireplace.  When the hostess seated us, she started to take away the silverware I reminded her that we made the reservation for 4, whereupon she argued with me and walked away shouting, “I can read, you know!”   For the record, Confirmation #: 2110397489 was for 4.  Not only was the hostess wrong, but she was rude and clearly not the best person to interact with customers.  When we left, the “doggie bag” that contained leftovers also had a roll of toilet paper.  Not sure if this was done on purpose! The food was superb, and because the table was near the bar, the bartender did check the table to see what we needed and was more attentive than the wait staff.

    What an excellent experience!! Loved everything about Landini’s. Was my son’s birthday and they had a card, decorated table and gave him a serenade with a sloc of Tiramiau with a candle. Made it special!!! Will definitely come back.

    Food was excellent. Service was poor. Our servant was missing in action except for 3 encounters. We really like this restaurant but the service could be better.
