Franco and Noe Landini are the proud hosts of Landini Brothers restaurant. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Franco's annual visits to his family and friends in Tuscany provide him with ample opportunity to learn about the latest advances in Tuscan cuisine—knowledge he brings home for the dining pleasure of restaurant guests.     The wait staff was the worst. I’ve been a loyal patron on this restaurant for years but tonight was terrible. It was humiliating the way the server treated us. I just couldn’t understand why we were treated so poorly. Very disappointed

    Our waiter was very pleasant. He was attentive to our needs. Two friends ordered the sea bass and both said it was delicious and the best they’ve eaten. I ordered the pasta vongole and it was very good. Landini Bros is one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve been several times, and, we’ve never been disappointed. Thank you

    The food was excellent and the service was excellent except for a minor snafu. When ordering, the dish came with potatoes and we asked if we could substitute for something else. The answer was yes and the waitress listed off a number of options including pasta. When the bill came, we were charged for two 1/2 orders of pasta! So just beware to ensure the "substitution" is not, you can add on a side dish for a charge. So, since we paid for the potatoes, we asked to have them boxed togo and the server also added a dessert togo which was a very kind gesture to try and make it right.

    Interesting that we were denied a table in the bar and told we must “ ask the Bartender for seating” Sorry, not begging to sit. When we left. All seven tables remained empty. Not super welcoming. Rockfish and clam casino were fine. Veal parm not so much. Overall disappointing experience and rude front of house staff didn’t help

    We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary this evening. As usual the service and the food were excellent! Pablo is one of the best waiters they have. He is very prompt, great with suggestions and made our anniversary dinner a memorable one.

    Classic, historical ( original stone walls) cozy and romantic, incredible food, large portions, varied nightly specials, lots of tables in small dining room but didn’t feel overly crowded or noisy. Long wine list. Love this place - consistently excellent
