Our love of flavourful beer runs deep, and it inspired us to open as Canada’s first microbrewery back in 1984. In a time of limited beer options, it became our mission to craft delicious, locally brewed beer that we were proud to share with our friends. Today, that mission remains the same, with every new style offered at our original small batch brewery on Granville Island. MICHELIN RECOMMENDED.Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district. Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus. A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a semi private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

    Had a lovely brunch today at the Tap & Barrel Bridges on Granville Island. They do a Happy Hour brunch before noon with all brunch $4 off so you have nothing to lose. The food was great, our server, Avielle was lovely and it's a perfect spot to sit. I have been here many times but didn't know about the deal on brunch. I'll be back - great food, great location and value.

    My experience at the keg was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! My partner and I recently got engaged, and we decided to celebrate with a special dinner on Valentine’s Day and I’m so glad we chose this place. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food and everything from the appetizers to the main course was incredible. And the service was quick. This was such a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning to the keg on granville island for future special occasions.

    Went here for Valentine’s day. We tried their 4 course dinner and it did not disappoint us. The food was delicious and the ambiance setting was romantic with petals on the table. Our server Kevin, was fabulous. Will definitely be back again.

    Really warm atmosphere and great service. The food was excellent. Really good Caesar salad, meatballs, anchovies on toast … pasta, chicken. Recommend this spot!
