North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience. The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981.     We dined at the Katherine for Thanksgiving. The food and service were great! Cynthia was our server and did an excellent job. This is the third time we have dined at the Katherine for Thanksgiving and have enjoyed each visit.

    Everything was excellent. At home intimacy in a public place. Classy, kind upper class people, from the staff to the clientele. I can’t wait to go back. Lots of regulars for a reason. I went to prom here in 1988 and I’m still going because it’s my favorite place. Never any rif raf or shenanigans…and from what I can tell. They operate off of the old school rule of the customer is never wrong. I had a last minute request and the young lady granted it, just like that. Always an amazing experience. Thank you Ryans!

    Excellent food as usual. Wonderful service. A bit noisy because we were near the kitchen but overall a very enjoyable evening hosting family from out of town.

    This was our first visit to Rooster’s and we were impressed by the food, the service and the varied menu. It’s comfortably nice casual, although I did see a few guys very casually dressed, but, hey, whatever… We will definitely return for lunch or dinner to try more on the menu. We had lunch - one fried oyster salad and one strip (grilled as ordered)with frites and a side of spinach.

    They had a live jazz band in the dining room, which added to the ambiance. The smoked old fashioned is one of the best cocktails I’ve had. We will 100% be back
