One of my favorite restaurants in NY. Sunday brunch feels like a big extended family. Great food, multi-generations, cozy and modern with the best energy. Best French Toast. Amazing grilled cheese with tomato sandwich . It’s all good no matter when you go. Classic NY.

This was our second time dining here. We loved it just as much this time as we did before. The pastas are incredibly fresh (and not over sauced with heavy ingredients) and the pizzas have that perfect wood fired taste. But the highlight this time was the service. Our hostess said she could easily accommodate our request for a window table (of note, the window seats overlook Ground Zero and have breathtaking views) if we didn’t mind waiting 20 minutes at the bar. We did that and enjoyed 4 different wines between the 4 of us. We highly recommend the Barolo. The wait was definitely worth it because we were seated in the corner window table that felt spacious and had a fabulous view. Next we were introduced to our server Ronnie who was fabulous at helping us navigate the menu and made our overall experience top notch. Ronnie’s service was impeccable, always around when we were ready to order, but not hovering, and a fun personality as well. We highly recommend eating here next time you are downtown.

The drink menu was exceptional, featuring standout options like the Paper Plane, which is a personal favorite and is listed as one of their signature cocktails. The Spicy Margarita was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. To start, the pear salad was a refreshing and flavorful choice, setting the tone for the meal. However, the true highlight of the evening was the pot pie. The crust was impeccably flaky and golden, while the filling was rich, savory, and utterly satisfying. The service was both friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. This restaurant is a gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal in a warm and historic setting.

Can never go wrong at NoBu. Their A5 Japanese Wagyu is definitely top 3 that I’ve ever had.

El lugar y la comida excelentes, el servicio en la mesa de primera… todo como se esperaba, e incluso un poco mejor. Lamentablemente no puedo poner 5 estrellas, pues nos hicieron esperar casi 50 minutos a pesar de tener la reserva confirmada. Se nos ofreció una disculpa e incluso se nos obsequió el postre “baked alaska” (muy bueno) a manera de compensación… lo anterior literalmente “endulzó” la experiencia que de otra forma hubiera sido desagradable.
