Kyloe is by far the best steak house in Edinburgh. Service is impeccable and food is incredible. We opted for the "steak me out" formula. We had the chateaubriand which was perfectly cooked and melt in the mouth. The sauces were perfectly made, the whiskey and peppercon one was delightful. Personnel is very prepared and extremely kind. Kyloe has also been awarded a AA rosette and it is very well deserved as it is a real pleasure to dine here.

The customer service was outstanding! So lovely and attentive without being intrusive. A waitress overheard we were celebrating a birthday and came out with a wee treat! It was so thoughtful! The food was amazing as usual, so tasty I did intend to have 3 courses but I was full after 2 courses, so three of us shared a dessert, just to get a wee taste! Yummy

Really pleased with the newly refurbished venue. However the music got turned up part way through our visit and it did seem a bit too loud. It was quite hard to hear others in our group speak.

First time visitor . Booked roof top terrace weeks in advance , knowing it was taking a chance in November. Right enough snow storm hit day of our visit . Staff phoned to make us aware of weather and moved our booking inside ,few hours later another call from staff to say grassmarket had a power cut and phoned again when electricity was back on … visited had a great night ( only drinks didn’t order food) … all made possible by the great communication by the staff … will def visit again

Really good experience! Service was fantastic, food was amazing, drinks were tasty! Only thing, you feel a little on top of other guests as the venue is quite small. Didn’t ruin the experience at all though. Will be back!!
