In the mountains of North Georgia the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant has been welcoming guests since 1922. Restored in 2008, the hotel and restaurant offer the best of rustic elegance. From the antique heart pine walls to the locust beams on our deck, expect unique, local craftsmanship. The decor is rich with period antiques, hand-woven rugs, and local artwork. It features a creatively prepared and presented Contemporary American menu with a Southern twist in the farm to table tradition. Fresh produce locally grown is hand selected and prepared by our Chef de Cuisine, whose entrees respect the natural flavors of high quality, humanely raised and locally harvested food. His kitchen produces cuisines from many regions including Classical French, Southern USA, and Mediterranean. Many guests describe the food at the Lake Rabun Hotel as "the best in the mountains."

Glen-Ella Springs Inn Restaurant is open to the public and inn guests beginning at 5:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday April through December, and Wednesday through Saturday January through March. Calling ahead is recommended as some additional nights are closed in the winter. Offering one of the finest dining experiences in the North Georgia mountains, the restaurant prepares American Continental cuisine with a Southern flare. The setting is rustic, yet elegant and features fireside and outdoor dining depending on the season. Outdoor seating is limited; please call to request an outdoor table.

    Mgr./hostess: Savannah greeted me with a smile by name & seated me at favorite table. Per my interest in a non alcoholic specialty drink she had Jeff, bartender mix up something special for me. I’ve been blessed to have Savannah service me before and she’s consistently offered excellent customer care & service, always pleasantly professional. Tonight, I also had the pleasure of getting Francisco as my waiter for the first time. He was attentive & accommodating each request with patience & a smile and in a timely manner. His attention to detail as only one example: keeping my water glass filled was appreciated. When dining alone I am grateful for such friendly wait staff yet was impressed at how well Francisco balanced his attention with other guests. From several different visits my husband & I have noticed the consistently excellent customer service. No, I haven’t forgotten my food… French onion soup, Salad and Sticky Toffee Date Cake were wonderful.

    We had a delicious Ribeye and Scallops dinner, and when Nancy, our wonderful and attentive server discovered it was my birthday, she delivered a great dessert on the house. We will definitely be back.

    Wonderful Date Night at our favorite place Lake Rabun Hotel! The food and service were excellent and our server Savana made the night extra special!!! We will definitely be back, to try all the delicious looking dishes on the Spring Menu. Just some advice everyone needs to go try the calamari, my new favorite!!

    As always, we truly enjoyed our evening at Fortify. Jorge’s attentive service was impeccable and Tyler shook some mighty fine Martini’s. We really enjoy the chef’s creative new items on the menu as well as the classic mainstays. All the dishes were delicious. Jack and Daniel have recruited a welcoming and friendly team at Fortify, consistently offering an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. We love dining at Fortify. Gita and Joe Gardner
