It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Great place for intimate dinner or business dinner. Wait staff are attentive without being rude. Food was good. We started with lobster tempura and crab soup, entrees were crab cakes and scallops with shrimp pasta, ended with apple tarts. Everything was delicious

Great service! Very competent server who made worthwhile suggestions. Food was awesome! My hand cut Black Angus steak might be in my top two choices! Perfectly grilled/cooked. My wife’s crab cake, etc was tasty. It was pricey BUT worth every cent. Highly recommend the Oregon Grille!
