The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. My best friend and I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere was cozy, and everything we tried was fantastic, but the highlight of our visit was definitely the beer bread—it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it paired wonderfully with our meal. To top it off, our waitress was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back!

Quite literally the best crab omelette I've ever eaten. The ambiance and decor are pitch-perfect: not too formal, with just enough elegant simplicity to add to the overall experience. The staff are knowledgeable professionals who know how to set and serve a table. Gertrude's is my go-to when friends and family visit, or when I want a dining experience that is a cut above!

Reservation for 6 at 6:30, seated on time and excellent service started. Great job by our server with drinks and food delivered on time by friendly staff. If you have not experienced CECES I suggest you do so as you won’t be disappointed.
