What a wonderful experience at Joe Fortes—no wonder it’s an institution! We unfortunately kept experiencing delays beyond our control and had to move our booking no less than 3 times within the hour and they were so, so gracious about it. Our server, Norm, was fantastic, and gave us excellent recommendations! The food was perfection-favorites were the calamari, lobster bisque, sablefish, arctic char, and mussels (basically everything we ordered; and the pavlova (my own baking specialty) and carrot cake were perfectly delectable! I will need to come by every time I visit (I’m from California). Make sure you make reservations as they get busy!

One of mine and my daughter's favourite restaurants in Vancouver! The Food, the portion sizes, the atmosphere, the service. All exceptional. Nice small plates so we can try a few different things and share. Just dined there yesterday and already looking forward to our next visit.

We had the best Keg dining experience we have ever had at The Keg Dunsmuir. Fabulous service. It was my husband's birthday and he received a complimentary ice cream cake. We asked for a nice quiet corner and we got it. The ribs, and both steaks were cooked as requested. We did not feel rushed despite the almost full restaurant. Wine glass was topped up as needed. Receptionists were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return next time we're in Vancouver (we are from Victoria, BC) Thank you!
