Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks.     The best dinner I have had in Charlotte. Attentive service and every single bite was amazing. From the crab, to shrimp, to steak, to potatoes, to mac and cheese with seafood. Even the desert, oh my gosh!! Oh, and cocktails were perfection. Try anything and everything on the menu and will not disappoint. The music too was great upbeat selection.

    The food was good, well seasoned. Sizable portions. The sides were good ( Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy), collards, broccolini, corn bread. The fried chicken & braised short ribs reminded me of my mother’s home cooking. Thanksgiving meal did not disappoint. Asia M our server and everyone made you feel welcome.

    We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at La Belle Helene. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared: the turkey was so moist, the gravy was perfect, the potatoes and stuffing were great and the green beans had a nice little crunch to them. Our server was so friendly and professional and really made it such a nice occasion. I had never dined out on Thanksgiving and was worried about it but our experience here exceeded all expectations!

    Absolutely loved it here! The food is delicious especially the steak and frites or fish and chips ohhh and I can’t forget the pizza my goodness phenomenal! Will now be a staple restaurant to go to uptown. Our server Jensen was super lovely too.
