Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With community tables, an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can accommodate 100 guests for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Negroni cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. The massive wooden doors on Upper King Street are your first indication that Indaco is different from the typical Charleston restaurant. Rustic details continue inside with butcherblock tables, lime-wash walls, and white brick. O-Ku, a Japanese restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina, is a triumph of execution and concept.     We visited for this restaurant for the first time and have to say that we will visit each time in Charleston. My wife is celiac and the waiter was very knowledgeable and restaurant had many options. She had the New Bedford Sea Scallops, which were delicious. I tried the Lowcountry Bouillabaisse and it was very good. Highly recommend this as a go to restaurant in Charleston.

    This is a terrific restaurant. The menu is quite basic, but everything is prepared expertly, and the staff is both welcoming and professional. Whenever we're in Charleston we never miss a visit. My faves are the local Low-Country seafood items and the filet. Again, a basic menu but all the bases are well covered. Oh... and that coconut cake. "Extraordinary" doesn't do it justice.

    Our experience at Hummus was wonderful. The food was delicious and very authentic. Our server was great. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
