Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. Drawing upon the rich history of Milwaukee’s craftsmanship we present, Craft. The history of Milwaukee dates to the early 17th and 18th centuries when traders first began to travel through and eventually settle in what is now Milwaukee. Deep European roots brought craftsmen and skilled hands to the area and to this day an ethic of hard work and determination inhabits the spirit of the city. Early on the area was full of coopers, butchers, shoemakers, and farmers. Milwaukee’s beer history started in the 1840’s, driven by the presence of the frontier settlement near the Great Lakes. Immigrants, including Welsh and German settlers, yearned for the native beers of their homelands, so they embarked on making delicious craft beer with techniques from their native countries. Craft features a cuisine including locally sourced foods, hand crafted cocktails, and a vast selection of local beer.

As always, a great experience! The restaurant was I little understaffed this evening, so the server was not as attentive as in the past due to the workload. But did provide excellent service when needed. The 2 "stand in bartenders (Sara and Christina (?)" were great at doing a job that they aren't normally responsible for. The all-around staff was very efficient and the ambiance great! Too bad in today's world, restaurants of all types feel the "pinch" of not having enough associates.

It was a perfect evening. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary with my husband’s mother. The waitress was very good. The drinks, food and desserts were superb. The entire staff was so pleasant and friendly. We drive from Cleveland, Ohio to spend our anniversary together as a family at the Capital Grille every year.

Perfect place to have a quick bite to eat before a Bucks game. Food was great Had a smash burger and fries. And the wait staff were fabulous!
