Supper is The Third restaurant from the Frank crew. Here Frank has taken his favorite classic dishes from all over the north of italy and coupled them with a space that reeks Old East Village charm. Wine wine and more Italian Wines than any other east village restaurant. Think lots of brick and stone low lighting and a handinstalled Florentine wood ceiling pictured in the last supper. Old Venetian glass hanging chandeliers and it's all just a setting for a whirling swirling kitchen center stage. Yeah...Veal Milanese (proper), Bolognese out the... You guessed it. OUT DA BUTT. Bar Primi is a corner pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York's East Village has since become an essential in chef and co-owner Andrew Carmellini's range: fresh pasta traditionally prepared and cooked to order. At Bar Primi, the main course is Primi Piatti. We use a variety of non-GMO semolina and specialty ‘00’ flours, organic eggs and handed-down techniques to create our menu of Traditional and Seasonal pasta dishes. We make more than a dozen different shapes and styles daily. This includes lumache and rigatoni from our imported extruder or ravioli and mezzalune cut and filled by hand. Family recipes and secrets are traded between Carmellini and Brooklyn-born chef-partner Salvatore Lamboglia who also offers a daily meat or seafood special in addition to a selection of shareable Piccolini and Antipasti, artisanal cheese, salumi and simple home-style desserts.

Food and service is great. Was surprised to see that they had a burger and fries and tried that this time and it was excellent. Menu is entirely Gluten Free, as well.

This was truly one of the best meals ever! The food was outstanding; the Crispy Rice and Lychee Martinis are a must. Service was incredible. Vibes were high. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Beauty and Essex! We ordered 8 items for 5 people and had plenty of food. Highlights were apple and kale salad, tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings, strip steak and mushroom ravioli. Service was fantastic and ambience was fabulous. Expensive but worth it!
