DOPO, meaning 'after' in Italian, is an intimate dining experience in the lower level of Elizabeth Square in Marda Loop, Calgary. Inspired by D.O.P, its predecessor restaurant, DOPO has been reimagined by Executive Chef, David Leeder and Owner, Tony Migliarese. With strong opinions from Mamma Rose, of course. Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra. We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef. We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

    Ten Foot Henry is my favourite restaurant in Calgary and has been consistently for years!! My favourite dish of the night was the new “marinated beets” with mama ghanoush, salted ricotta (I omitted due to dairy allergy) & cured zucchini - A true chefs kiss/honourable mention to this extraordinary explosion of flavours, vivid colours and complimentary textures which paired superb with my delightful blueberry roiboos tea! Thank you all as always for the exceptional hospitality, service & care this Valentine’s Day weekend!! Much love & appreciation, Sam

    A very nice meal. We had the steak frites and a glass of wine each. Good value - happy hour prices. The steak was perfectly cooked and had a nice horseradish dip on the side. Crispy fries and a tasty salad. Pleasant red wine. Great service from our lovely server.

    Easily the best spot in Calgary. I’ve eaten here more than 10 times and I have yet to have a single complaint. Great drinks, great food, great staff.

    We had a very good meal, the place was very busy of course. The only complaint I have is the parking is not good. It’s very limited we ended up parking on the street which wasn’t the best. We weren’t asked if we were celebrating something special by our server. I heard other servers asking their customers if they were celebrating something special and at the end received the billy minor pie for free, so that was disappointing.
