We are north of St. Armand’s Circle, and minutes from downtown Sarasota. Best known for Local Fresh Grouper and Red Snapper.     We come down to Sarasota 1 or 2 times a year and one of our favorite places to dine is Dry Dcok Waterfront Grill. Tonight we had a table overlooking the bay. The service was great. Food outstanding as usual. I had Tuscan cream sauce over linguine with grouper. My husband had the grouper boathouse tacos. Both were delicious. The grouper is always fresh. Also had the lobster bisque, very good! Can't wait til our next dinner there!

    We really like Duval's. We got there just before the end of Happy Hour and our server, Jen, volunteered to keep our 2nd glasses of Chardonnay in the chiller for us until we were ready for them. What a great deal -- Happy Hour prices paid for Happy Hour wine ordered before 6:00 but consumed later. Since Swordfish was not on the Fresh Catch menu (and I love the way Duval's does Swordfish), we decided to share a few appetizers. Always a good choice and always delish. It was a delightful night dining outside in their Parklet. We are so happy that Sarasota voted to continue to allow them even after the COVID-19 pandemic ended.

    Enjoyed cocktails and apps in bar at happy hour and then enjoyed early bird dinner at a lovely table overlooking the water in restaurant. Our waitress, Jessica, was very attentive and delightful. Our meals were delicious and plentiful; we took home 1/2 our meals to enjoy the next day. We’ll definitely be back!
