Located in NYC's premiere “suburban” oasis, we bring energy to the ground floor of The Art House New York Hotel. We are a friendly destination for families, professionals and visitors. Vibrant frescos grace the walls while the pizza oven takes center stage. Our dining room offers expansive vies of the busy streets, while our patio seating puts guests right in the middle of the action. We offer delicious Italian cuisine, featuring fresh pastas, pizzas, seafood and meats. UPDATED COVID-19 POLICY:In adherence to the NYC mandate, all eligible guests 12 years and older must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter our restaurant. You will need to provide proof of at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccination to enter & dine indoors. The following are acceptable proof of vaccination with a matching valid ID: NYS Excelsior Pass, State or Country issued digital pass or Vaccination Card.     What a great Thanksgiving meal! The papardelle with turkey leg ragu was insanely delicious. I could eat it every day and not get tired of it. The choices of entrees were difficult to choose from, but we all had the porchetta with jimmy nardello peppers and red endive. The sides were served family style. The roasted carrots were fabulous. Dessert, too was served family style. Service was friendly and efficient. Johnny, our waiter, was excellent. The room is attractive, the bar has great choices. This place is a great addition to the UWS and I will be returning often.

    Nice Matin was great. Went there for Thanksgiving. The food and service was very good and it was reasonably priced. In fact I'd say it was an excellent value. The ambience is very pleasant and the noise level was tolerable, in fact not as bad as I would have expected considering the restaurant was full. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend and return.

    Cute spot we chose for our thanksgiving lunch. We were not disappointed. My turkey meal was delicious! I would recommend them for thanksgiving as well as any day of the week and the service was wonderful. My husband had a regularly-served dish and enjoyed it very much. Kid friendly. Thank you to all who took care of us today.

    If I could give my experience today, 10 stars, I would! Nicole was an amazing server. She was attentive, professional, and very kind. She made my delicious meal a wonderful experience. Additionally, management was personable and professional , and making sure everything ran very smoothly. This was one of my favorite dining experiences at Tavern on the Green. Thank you again Nicole for providing such an impeccable service!
