Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day.     Excellent Thanksgiving day meal. Everything was delicious from the assortment of breads and butters and jam to the desserts. Even though it was quite busy, all the food came out fresh, hot, and prepared as requested. I would definitely go back!

    We enjoyed our dining experience at J. Gilbert’s today. The food was excellent and hot. I ordered the Thanksgiving special and everything was delicious. The customer service was great. Christian was friendly and attentive to our table. I will definitely go back and recommend.

    Our family always enjoys our meals. Nice variety and dishes that I can't make as well at home. Cocktails and beer hit the mark The andouille shrimp and grits, seared scallops over butternut risotto, pot roast. and chicken and waffles were all divine. Not a morsel of food was left on our plates. The appetizers of brie jammy onion bread, green tomatoes and biscuits kicked off our meal. This is a reliable casually elegant dinner spot

    Et Viola is one of our favorite neighborhood gems-always a go to for family dinners or simply date night at the bar! The staff is phenomenal with their outstanding hospitality, food is delicious, and the cocktails and wine list are superb!

    Filomena does not disappoint! Always perfectly cooked pasta, chicken and seafood. The place is already decorated for Christmas which makes it quite an experience with a polar bear dressed in his best and Santa not to mention all the streamers and stuff hanging from the ceiling. No place like it. Only downside is they fill the place up and it gets tight and warm down in that basement. A must for any trip to DC and Georgetown!
