The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. Service was unrivaled. The host was very professional, polite, friendly, and helpful. Our waitress, Ally(so?), was tremendous. Extremely polite, friendly, informative, helpful, and efficient. The view was incredible and it was perfect evening for Jacqueline's 18th birthday dinner with us

We have been to the Del Bar before and we are always very pleased. The atmosphere and service are always top notch. We started with appetizers of shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. I had the crab legs and my wife had the shrimp dejounge. We were both very happy with our food. We were having a seafood night, but we know from past experience that the steaks are also wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but our drinks were also very good. All in all a very pleasant night.
