We're happy to offer a $80/per person chef-curated prix fixe to celebrate Valentine's Day with your special someone. The full menu can be found below. We will not be offering our normal dinner menu on that day.Since our early days as a tea room, we’ve been a respite for locals and visitors alike, offering a haven for conversation and memorable cuisine. The tradition continues as our culinary team has curated an inventive and elevated menu through New American cuisine while paying homage to the beloved dishes that have been served at the Tabard Inn for years. A DC institution since 1922, we look forward to offering our guests all the comforts of a home away from home. Executive Chef Matthew Zafrir came to the Tabard in 2023, bringing with him experience from various fine dining restaurants around D.C. such as minibar by José Andrés, Cranes, Revelers Hour.

Press Club is a record bar and cocktail lounge with a focus on the curation of guest experience and providing maximum levels of hospitality. The name is an homage to DC while also evoking the pressing of records and the ingredients used to craft our cocktails.Our Playlist Experience is a four course cocktail tasting flight featuring culinary techniques and seasonal ingredients. Each cocktail will be paired with accompanying snacks from our kitchen. Our standard reservations are for an a la carte experience featuring our cocktails and izakaya bites.     Tabard Inn is simply the best place to go for brunch/ lunch or a romantic date night dinner on a freezing cold winter day. An English style Inn with warm fireplace in the lounge area and many tables in various nooks and crannies of the dining area. Good bar, professional service and good food. We loved it.

    First off, we were running 20 minutes behind for our 8pm Saturday reservation. About 7:50, when it was clear our dinner was progressing far too slowly, I messaged the bar through this app. They responded and were AOK with our running late. We really appreciated their flexibility, especially on a Saturday night. Anyhow, on to the drinks and small bites that were part of the “playlist” experience. 4 creative and well executed cocktails perfectly paired. They accommodated our pescatarianism and a nut allergy no questions asked. Small space and they seem to pretty much operate on a reservation only basis. Cool Unisonian interior decor. Great music (a mix of the Roots, OutKast, and some 70s disco). Staff was awesome. Each was friendly and professional and good at what they do. We’ll be back.

    This restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or a small group celebration.
