The Café Brio, located in Victoria, has been a local favorite for twenty six years, serving up a rustic, Italian inspired menu. Focusing on regional products, Café Brio led by multi awarded Chef Sam Harris selects the highest quality ingredients from local sources to be used in authentic, creative dishes.At Café Brio, everything is prepared in house. Pasta favorites include gnocchi with roasted leeks, parmesan cream and basil purée, Spaghettini with tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil and parmigiano and also our wild mushroom risotto. From the Sea enjoy seared scallops with peroxides, delicata squash, carmelo and bacon anchovy vinaigrette or our local fish feature.     I love this place. I’ve been here over the years (like decades ago), but have rediscovered it in the past couple of months. It’s now my go-to spot. The half portion entree makes it possible to try an appy (beet salad, cortini) and dessert (crème brûlée, sticky toffee pudding -yum!). The service is great. Jason was patient as we tried to find the right wine to order. All staff are friendly and attentive. It’s all good. Just go and see for yourself.

    Great as always. Amazing service. They were very accommodating for modifying the dish for no dairy..even suggesting an alternate sauce etc. Incredible. Really put us first. I had the sablefish…absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. We were told that we had the table for two hours but even though we were over…no one rushed us. Outstanding. Thank you!!!
