Small Barn is an exciting part of the Temecula restaurant landscape offering a casual but elevated dining experience in the form of a modern bistro. The restaurant atmosphere is crafted to be a welcoming gathering place that is beautifully designed and relaxed, but with a vibrant energy that encourages socializing and discovery.On the site of the historic Knott Family Homestead, Small Barn has brought new life to a landmark building from the early 1900s. Great care has gone into preserving the structure and with it the legacy of a prominent Temecula family that was among the area’s first settlers. Small Barn has maintained the original residential scale and offers extensive outdoor seating including the large wrap-around porch, covered patio and fireside lounge seating.

    It was the best steak I ever had since Ruth Crisp Steakhouse. The ambience was awesome service was excellent and I can't wait to eat at this pleasant place again to try other dishes. The spicy shrimp appetizer and berry salad are the best pre-meal I every had in a long time.

    Atmosphere was great service was great. Food was delicious. Something different not the ordinary just steaks hamburgers pretty good. Delicious food. Recommend the area.

    Book a reservation to celebrate Valentines together , and only one word describes the whole experience. Phenomenal. We started off we our cocktails which were crafted to perfection, my love ordered a limoncello drop martini and I ordered a pineapple Moscow mule the taste of our drinks were sublime. Then we both shared a handcrafted Cesar salad, you can tell everything was made about the salad was in house made and the cuts of romaine was fresh and crisp. For our main course we both decided on something new to our pallets , she had a salmon Favalli and I had to try the squid ink spaghetti, both dishes were amazing the sauce in the salmon dish had a very great note to it , and the squid ink spaghetti in the mushroom sauce was absolutely divine , to finish off our night we share a fresh cannoli and it was very delicious, 12/10 will come back again , I want to try the veal or maybe the filet mignon and she was thinking the gnocchi. Thank you to the staff for bringing the whole night together.
