At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment.     We have been going to the Black Pearl for a few years now, and it never disappoints, the staff the food always outstanding. Don’t want to say too many good things otherwise it’ll be impossible to get in when we want return.

    Food is very good. Not fancy at all. Dogs are everywhere one was just loose and walking around. No cage or leash. We saw one on owners lap eating from a plate. Music was a one man band that was very good. If you don’t like loud ask to sit in the back or outside. We had 3 glasses of wine and three appetizers and with tip the bill was $103.00. Very expensive but what isn’t these days. Don’t miss the Clam Chowder it’s spectacular!

    We always love it here, the updates were great! The live music was nice but dinner was at 7:00 and the music was sooooooo loud we were shouting at each other. Lower volume would have been much nicer and then turn it up after the dinner crowd.
