We are one of the best kept secrets in Venice. Nestled inside The Penmar golf course, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, and our full coffee bar surrounded by gorgeous lush green grass and trees. We have a fun and approachable menu filled with pancakes, burgers, breakfast tacos, burritos, and ceviche. The golf course has been in Venice since 1962 and is where Harrison Ford famously "landed" his plane. You don't need to golf to come visit us. Gjelina is a restaurant specializing in New American cuisine. Open every day from 8 a.m. until 11pm, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Service was over and above expectations. Really nice, hip space. We ate outdoors so were happy to have the lower noise level than usual in an LA restaurant -- because I actually wanted to talk to my table-mates. (I heard the restaurant might have a DJ sometimes, so check first so that you don't accidentally come on a night with music blaring.) The food was excellent. I would definitely go back. A+
