Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     Such an incredible restaurant! The food was unreal and the service was excellent. I even received a beautiful birthday dessert on the house! So impressed with the service and quality of food especially being vegan and gluten free, there were soooo many incredible options to choose from. We ended up ordering 8 plates because everything sounded so good and each dish definitely lived up to their description, if not better. Thank you to everyone for making our evening so magical, special thank you to Meriam who was so attentive and knowledgeable, she gave us the best taco recommendations! :)

    The food was outstanding; Pig's head on toast was banging with flavour. Ribeye and Rump cap with Black lock gravy is pure gold! Topping the food was the service, so I am picking Blacklock City over the other outlets for my next steak out. Andrea was great and made the dining experience very enjoyable. She is the best restaurant hostess in London, and Blacklock is lucky to have her. Also, a shout-out to Oliver as well; he was great! Blacklock City, you ROCK!!

    Such a nice place. The Interior is even prettier than in the photos. And the waiter was quite friendly and pleasant. The food was fancy and tasty. Prices are not extremely high. But it was difficult to find an entrance.
