Under the culinary direction of Chef Somoza, Flora’s menu captures the spirit of Mediterranean seaside towns from Saint Tropez to Capri to Marbella, spotlighting the bountiful seafood and vibrant produce that are hallmarks of coastal cuisine. With a passion for fresh ingredients rooted in his childhood in the Spanish countryside, picking wild blackberries and foraging mushrooms and wild asparagus, Chef Somoza is drawn to local, farm-to-table cooking.The Flora menu is made up of regional ingredients such as sweet corn, seasonal vegetables and fruits, local seafood and small farm sourced meats, and is anchored by a crudo bar and fish main courses including Dover Sole, Bank Scallops, pan seared halibut. A skilled pastry chef and boulanger, Somoza is also putting an emphasis on quality breads and an impressive offering of house-made pastries and ice cream, and the most delicious creme brulee.

Midtown Oyster Bar is Newport #1 choice when it comes to the freshest seafood and the largest raw bar in town. Our two story building offer 2 bar areas, the first floor tavern and the second floor Burgee Bar. Located right on Thames Street, there is no better place in town to watch the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. Our tavern area has high top tables for a casual, bar atmosphere, where you can gather with friends to enjoy a great meal, or a few beverages. Three dining rooms and three outside decks allow for plenty of dining space as well as the availability for private parties.Whether you are looking for casual snacks and cocktails with friends or a formal dining experience, Midtown Oyster Bar has everything you could possibly be looking for.**In order to provide the best service possible we are limiting table seating to parties of 8 or less. A credit card is required for reservations of 6 or more people. There will be a $50 charge for a "No Show/No Call" reservation.

A fresh take on American cuisine using the finest ingredients, served in a classy yet casual setting with a family-friendly atmosphere. Upon reserving an igloo your card will be charged $100 plus tax, this rental fee covers your use of the igloo for 2 hours & 20 minutes, There is a $25 Food and Beverage minimum per person for lunch, $50 per person for dinner. There is a max of 10 people per igloo. No refunds will be given if you cancel within 72 hours of your reservation date. This also applies to No-Shows.We cannot guarantee a specific themed igloo.
