The Greenhead Hotel was taken over in June 2020 by local proprietor Jordan Dodwell & his partner Anna Pearson. After a complete refurb they opened the doors on the 14th August 2020.Head Chef, Dan, & his young, eager team use the finest ingredients available using local butchers, suppliers and even forage in the nearby woodland. Bouchon is quite unique in the North East. The restaurant is smart, welcoming with a friendly ambience. Staff are very pleasant & welcoming. The food is wonderful & beautifully presented. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a very special meal.

I hate it when restaurants put a discretionary service charge on. I pay it but would tip anyway if the food and service are value for money.And a further point is the Employer should be paying decent salaries without staff having to rely on tips for their living.
