Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org. If there is a chance of rain we will have to cancel.Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013). This place was beautiful and the service was spectacular. I’d say it’s a lil too pricey for what you get though. I’ve had high tea at other places that were around $30-$40 and had more stuff whereas this place (while yes it was good) was $64 per person for a few slices of bread, tarts, crumpets, and one tea selection. On top of that, you have to pay to get into the Huntington. I still rate it five stars cause it was a beautiful and calm experience, but again just a bit overpriced.

It never disappoints to come here. It was easy to make the reservation. The food here is delicious and the service is great. They’re very friendly and we will always keep coming back.

Our first time there and it was great setting, food and service. We’ll definitely go back often. Live that is an old Craftsman style house and the patios. Thx for a special evening.
