Our aim is simple: we want to tell the story of our community, the producers themselves and how we’ve utilised their ingredients.Sometimes a dish will be on the menu for a six week period, fully celebrating the early or late season. We had the roast today and cauliflower cheese was recommended by our waitress and it’s just as good as she said! Cheesy with a breadcrumb crust! My son has the kids veggie curry and it was delicious, great addition to a kids menu that normally consists of air fried/freezer food elsewhere….. they also do half sized roasts on Sundays for kids too! House Red was lovely, portion sizes were good, service was quick, genuine and effortless. The staff seemed to really enjoy being there. Definitely recommend!

As usual, the food was really nice at the Butchers. The beer battered fish and chips was very nice indeed. The service was good and not at all pushy. A nice evening out.
