Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality.     Josephine’s is my go to brunch spot. When I need a personal pick me up, brunch with friends or brunch with my finance, Josephine’s is always my top pick. Their food is always top tier and they have the most beautiful people on their team. 10/10 recommended.

    Went here for my birthday celebration and it was absolutely amazing! One of the prettiest restaurants i’ve ever been to and the surprised us with a birthday dessert! Great service and the food was amazing! It was loud when we went because they had a dj so beware if that’s not your thing.

    Amazing from start to finish. Super personable and helpful waitstaff who helped us figure out the menu and must-have items. Vibe was lively but also intimate. Every dish was the best version of that I’ve ever had. Tuna Tiridito was crunchy and creamy. Fish tacos light and fresh. Zarandeado was a knockout - smoky. Guava cheesecake was rich, but with a good textural balance with the candied pepitas. Can’t wait to come back

    We had a wonderful early Valentines date at Verdad. We had hoped for a quiet, intimate table, but this is not the set up for this restaurant. But…..DO NOT STOP READING THIS REVIEW!!! We were seated at a window table in the bar area, and were blown away by the experience. Our server was very pleasant, knew the menu well and presented each item with such flare and creativity! The food and drinks were beyond amazing. It was a pleasantly memorable experience that I highly recommend.
