The Tasting Menu featured four courses, allowing us to sample a variety of dishes. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the chef’s expertise in blending traditional and modern culinary techniques. The portions were generous, ensuring we left fully satisfied. The ambiance of Salted Egg added to the overall enjoyment, providing a comfortable and inviting setting for our meal. For anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Melbourne, I highly recommend the $69 Tasting Menu at Salted Egg.

    We attended prior to a concert at Marvel Stadium. We booked ahead( a straight forward process using the website) and arrived slightly early. The place was busy but extremely organised and well staffed. Our orders were delivered promptly and the food was exactly as described. We therefore had a stress free and pleasant dinner leaving in plenty of time for our concert. It is not the place for an intimate dinner and chat, but ideal if you want good food presented on time and with efficient and friendly service.

    What a great find! We were welcomed by the owner/Chef who gave us a an overview of the menu. It did not disappoint. The dumplings OMG best I’ve ever had; the Chicken Laska; AMAZING. Give this restaurant a try you won’t be disappointed. THE FOOD IS DEVINE. 100% loved it
