Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border. Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. One of the most delightful meals I’ve had. Each dish had a depth of flavors taking you through the journey with each bite. The oysters, shishitos and fried chicken our favorites.

It's rare that I would post top ratings across the board, but this establishment earns it! We went early (6pm) to catch dinner before a show downtown. The food was amazing! Our waitress was super friendly and on top of her game. I made a request for the bar which some places would be frustrated with, but instead they made us amazing drinks and genuinely cared about our experience. Can't wait to try SAT/SUN brunch!

Amazing like always , the food is so good, the staff are great . I love quiet restaurants like Flora because I like to enjoy my food and talk with my family. I really recommend this restaurant. I would like to thanks to Enrique the manager that made my daughter have a wonderful birthday today.
