The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. This place was beautiful and the service was spectacular. I’d say it’s a lil too pricey for what you get though. I’ve had high tea at other places that were around $30-$40 and had more stuff whereas this place (while yes it was good) was $64 per person for a few slices of bread, tarts, crumpets, and one tea selection. On top of that, you have to pay to get into the Huntington. I still rate it five stars cause it was a beautiful and calm experience, but again just a bit overpriced.

It was a birthday celebration. Not only was the Sunday Brunch outstanding, but Chris, our server, and all of the support staff were outstanding as well.

It was a busy Saturday evening and I was so glad I made a reservation through Open Table. We only had to wait about 5 minutes. The food was great and was served in a timely matter after we ordered. Our server was also very nice and efficient. He came y the table often to inquire if everything was ok. We had a great experience.
