Olio e Limone Ristorante, located in downtown Santa Barbara's ARTS District, serves artisanal Italian cuisine. Meaning “oil and lemon” in Italian, their restaurant’s name reflects husband-wife team Alberto and Elaine Morello’s philosophy: rely on the integrity of the ingredients and quality of the preparation to provide Santa Barbara diners “simply sophisticated” Italian cuisine served in an inviting atmosphere with European hospitality. Start with eggplant souffle, then tuck into a plate of house made duck ravioli or Sicilian spaghetti with bottarga. And be sure to take home a bottle of their own olio, an organic extra-virgin olive oil made from Sicilian olive varieties. Olio Pizzeria is an upscale-casual pizzeria with salumi bar/wine bar/full bar which was inspired by the myriad neighborhood pizzerie and enoteche found around the corner from just about every piazza in Italy. This idea began to take shape before Alberto and Elaine Morello even opened Olio e Limone Ristorante, their fine dining Italian restaurant next door. In business for more than 30 years, Roy is a bistro-style, Americana restaurant with a frequently changing, handwritten menu. We strive to serve unpretentious cuisine of the highest quality. We use mostly certified organic produce from the local Santa Barbara Farmers Market, free range chicken and Harris Ranch hormone free beef. We bake our own bread, hand roll our pastas and make all of our desserts in house. Our ambiance is retro moderne California casual, and we have rotating art shows that run for a month and a half at a time. Live music once in a while. Full bar all the time.

    This was our first visit and we were blown away with the service and the atmosphere. I can’t believe the flavors of everything we ate. So much so that we reordered a couple of dishes. Our server RJ was on his game. We will be back….

    Absolutely one of our favorite places to dine in Santa Barbara. Their menu has something for everyone. Great prices and a nice selection of wines. Located in the heart of downtown.

    This is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner. My friend and I sat outside and had a wonderful meal together. I had the egg white omelet which was fantastic and she had a fish dish — halibut as I remember. The last time we were there we both got the salmon which was fabulous. I’ve had the pasta as well. Service was friendly and prompt and the value is good. Totally recommend.

    Bouchon provided a meaningful and special dining experience. All staff were polite and attentive, food was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant, especially with holiday music playing in the background. Santa Barbara is fortunate to have this treasure!
