With Echo & Rig Chef Sam Marvin has introduced a pioneering new concept transforming the long-held theories behind the steakhouse formula. We put a unique nose-to-tail spin on the traditional steakhouse, allowing diners to indulge in the best cuts of meat for incredibly approachable prices. A butcher before a steakhouse, we use every part of the animal. We care about every animal - how it lived, what it ate, and how it was cared for. Our 7,000 square foot space is located in the Downtown Commons Neighborhood (DOCO) in the lobby of The Sawyer Hotel. Situated on the bustling J Street corridor facing the Golden 1 Center main entrance.     Very good service good meatball appetizers excellent linguine. I would highly recommend also the pork chop. The waiter and staff were patient and efficient. Can't wait to go back. Wasn't impressed with my Old Fashioned Cocktail, but everything else was great.

    We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at Morton’s the Steakhouse. Squash soup, harvest salad, turkey, stuffing, scoop of dressing, best cranberry sauce we’ve ever had (and we are not big fans of cranberry sauce but this was delicious), mashed potatoes and gravy. Dessert was a pumpkin cheesecake that did not scream pumpkin. So delightful! Service was excellent. Looking forward to next Thanksgiving with the hopes they offer it again. We would definitely be there!

    We stopped by Ella's bar for appetizers and drinks at the bar while waiting for a friend. Claire W, working the bar, immediately made us feel at home. Cocktails, wine, and a couple of small plates, and everything was perfect. Super yummy, nicely presented, perfect portions. Claire answered all our questions, gave us good insight into what to expect from the small plates, and her wine recommendations were spot-on. Claire also has the perfect personality for the hospitality industry. Warm, open, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. We loved her!!! Next time we fly in to Sacramento, we're definitely heading to Ella's. You should too!!!
