Chef Teiichi Sakurai, well-known as the founder of Teppo (1995) and Tei Tei (1998), opened Tei-An in 2008 at One Arts Plaza. This was my boyfriend and I’s first time in. We were greeted and brought to our seat fairly quickly. Our server was patient with us and made great suggestions for Sake pairings. I got the Japanese Wagyu which was cooked to perfection. A must try! My boyfriend got the Wagyu Flat Iron, also a delicious option. We finished off with the lovely Espresso Creme Brulee. The atmosphere was luxurious and moody. Would love to come back again!

The salmon and prawns were delicious. I was really surprised that at 7:30PM on a Saturday night that the restaurant was empty - only 3 tables with guest. The staff was superb, but with so few guest, there were more waiters than guest. The truffle mac and cheese had no truffle, but overall it was good dining experience.
